I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to fool myself into thinking I'm being productive when I'm really just procrastinating. Here's a big list of all of my favorite stuff.
Workstation
14” MacBook Pro, M1, 16GB RAM (2021)
This thing has been a powerhouse! I can only imagine how snappy the higher-end models must be. Moving to M1 had a few hiccups with figuring out how to make certain things work in ARM, but overall Rosetta 2 seems to work great and this machine is fantastic.
